"To be nobody-but-yourself -- in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else -- means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting."- e e cummings

Tensionado

Tensionado
Nagulat din ako
Nong malaman na hindi lang pala ako
Yung nanghinayang
Nong nagaway tayo noon
At natuluyan sa iyakan at tampo

At sandali lang
Huwag ka munang magsalita
Di ko hahayaan lahat ito ay mawala
Ang iniisip ko kung pwede pa ba tayo

At miserable
Paulit-ulit lang ang nangyayari
Paikot-ikot tayo parang bote
At nasanay ka na ba doon
At nalimutan ang aking mga tanong

At hindi malinaw
Pwede bang wag kang sumigaw
Di ko hahayaan lahat ito ay maligaw
Nagtatanong sayo kung pwede pa ba tayo

At sandali lang
Huwag ka munang magsalita
Di ko hahayaan lahat ito ay mawala

Nagtatanong sayo kung pwede pa ba tayo?

Love???

When love has come
But soon is gone
It begs the question
Was it there

The love was lost
And never found
Lost with you
Lost with me
Lost into eternity

The love was just a figment
A figment of our minds
Something we could ponder
But Never express

Was it love or just a feeling
Was it love or just a healing

Healing from hatred
The Hatred of our hearts
Our past was dep and full of pain
We needed this to release the stain

For this i do not regret
The time with you that i had to spent

views of aging

George Carlin's Views on Aging

Do you realize that the only time in our lives when we like to get old is when we're kids? If you're less than 10 years old, you're so excited about aging that you think in fractions.

"How old are you?" "I'm four and a half!" You're never thirty-six and a half. You're four and a half, going on five!

That's the key.

You get into your teens, now they can't hold you back. You jump to the next number, or even a few ahead.

"How old are you?" "I'm gonna be 16!" You could be 13, but hey, you're gonna be 16! And then the greatest day of your life . . . you become 21. Even the words sound like a ceremony . . . YOU BECOME 21. YESSSS!!!

But then you turn 30. Oooohh, what happened there? Makes you sound like bad milk. He TURNED; we had to throw him out. There's no fun now, you're Just a sour-dumpling. What's wrong? What's changed?

You BECOME 21, you TURN 30, then you're PUSHING 40.

Whoa! Put on the brakes, it's all slipping away. Before you know it, you REACH 50 . . and your dreams are gone.

But wait!!! You MAKE it to 60. You didn't think you would!

So you BECOME 21, TURN 30, PUSH 40, REACH 50 and MAKE it to 60.

You've built up so much speed that you HIT 70! After that it's a day-by-day thing; you HIT Wednesday!

You get into your 80s and every day is a complete cycle; you HIT lunch; you TURN 4:30; you REACH bedtime.

And it doesn't end there. Into the 90s, you start going backwards; "I Was JUST 92."

Then a strange thing happens. If you make it over 100, you become a little kid again. "I'm 100 and a half!"

May you all make it to a healthy 100 and a half!!

HOW TO STAY YOUNG

1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the
doctors worry about them. That is why you pay " them " .

2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.

3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. " An idle mind is the devil's workshop." And the devil's name is Alzheimer's.

4. Enjoy the simple things.

5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.

6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.

7. Surround yourself with what you love, Whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.

8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.

9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.

10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Last song syndrome

Cool with you

Late last night
I was going through some old things
When I saw a picture of you, my best friend
It reminded me of days when you were mine
You had a way that always left me here with a smile
I want those sweet days back again
'Cuz baby

It's a sunny day, but your not around
That dog gone rain might as well be pouring down
It's such a shame 'cuz my hearts on the ground
Just wanna be cool with you again

Sometimes I sit by the fire and reminise
About the time that we spent in front of it
And that old flame will never be the same
Until you come back here and rekindle it
I just wanna share my heart with you again
'Cuz baby

It's a sunny day, but your not around
That dog gone rain might as well be pouring down
It's such a shame 'cuz my hearts on the ground
Just wanna be cool with you again

I fall asleep at night and often see you here in my dreams (my dreams)
Hold'in me (hold'in me, yeah baby)
But then I wake up and I realize that your not here with me
It hurts so much
I gotta have you back baby

It's a sunny day, but your not around
That dog gone rain might as well be pouring down
It's such a shame 'cuz my hearts on the ground
Just wanna be cool with you again

Pride and Flame....

Gone, gone are the days
When the west was wild
An every child's dream
A light was seen
Gone, gone are the days
When the world just sung for tomorrow to come
But she never came

If I was to break
If I was to pay

Blue moon, are you lost again
Where will I find your light
Where will I find the truth
How will we ever say goodbye

'Cause we're turning the pages again
Bound by the lives that have been spent
I'm not living your third world lies

Goodbye, better days ahead
Goodbye

Gone, gone are the days
All these questions
No straight answers
Everybody's a high priced healer, hey
Gone, gone are the days
'Tis the season of change
Every scar on the hand marks a new day

Sleep child
Slip into a dream
Poppa hasn't been home
Busy living out this crazy scene

Blue moon, are you lost again
Where will I find your light
Where will I find the truth
How will we ever say goodbye

'Cause we're turning the pages again
Bound by the lives that have been spent
I'm not living your third world lies

Goodbye, better days ahead

Reached out to feel each grain
A lifetime running through his hands
The scorching heat left our heart
The workings of a proud brown man
But nowhere could you see
Dark eyes look away
The pride and the flame

Reached out to feel the warmth
Time running through his hands
The scorching heat gave life
The heart of the proud brown man
And he says to his child
Who still couldn't stand

Someday

When I was a little boy, my mother used to sing me a song. It went like this: "Life is short, life is shit, and soon it will be over."
